Owner/ Licensed Massage Therapist
LaToya obtained her Massage Therapy training at Southeastern Institute in October 2018 and became licensed with the state of North Carolina in December 2018. She achieved certification in Medicupping Therapy in January 2019.
She is originally from Arapahoe, NC, and has lived in Charlotte, NC for over a decade. She has one daughter, Alanna, that is also aspiring to build her own business techniques through her love for art.
In her free time, LaToya loves to read, learn new massage techniques and have a good laugh with family and friends. She has a very vibrant, diverse and welcoming personality that she brings to each massage session. During deep tissue work, she usually tries to make the client laugh through the discomfort so she is able to properly treat the muscle.
The name Hill'n Hands derived from the homonym healing hands.
LaToya thought it would be creative to be acknowledged as her and
her hands while also providing the effect of her having hands that can
heal. "I try to be a healer, but the healing comes from the amount of time and effort someone puts into their own health and wellness. I cannot heal a body that has no maintenance plan".
Through Hill'n Hands Massage Therapy, LaToya aims to bring awareness to all communities about the benefits that massage therapy provides to one's body for overall health and wellness.
Hill'n Hands Massage has attended multiple events in Charlotte as a vendor and has even gained celebrity bookings. Hill'n Hands has a featured ad in the Huami Charlotte Magazine May/June 2019 edition. To view, click on the 'Read Article' button above.
